*Min age to rent any property is 25.
*Per county rules: Weddings are NOT allowed of any kind or size, on the property or at the house. You will be shut down immediately and will lose the security deposit and will be subject to more fines.
*You are only allowed 8 people at any time at the house. This includes any dinners or gatherings you may have.
*Please help us to keep our home a vacation rental. NOISE ORDINANCE 9pm to 8am DAILY and is very strict in this neighborhood.
* Fireworks, wood fire pits, and charcoal BBQ's are illegal in the Lake Tahoe Basin.
**Parking: 4 cars allowed at house at any time. There is no street parking per county and fire safety rules. Pursuant to DCC 20.622.040 (D) (6) Failure to park in the designated parking spaces and/or display the parking permit may result in a citation and fine of $500 to the responsible party or person of the vehicle. You must display the parking pass in both vehicles during your stay. They are in the rental house.
*Please be prepared for winter driving conditions as we are above 7k feet in elevation, and we do get snow.

This 4 bedroom condo is great for a family vacation. Close to town, access to the Lake Village shared pool and hot tub area, walking trails in the forest are right out the front door. The view from the deck is of the forest and is very relaxing.
There is a 2 car garage and parking for 2 cars in the driveway.
Very close to town, beaches, restaurants, shopping and more.
The kitchen and living room are open floor plan, there is a deck off the kitchen with amazing views of the forest.
This is a 3 story home with the kitchen and living room on the top floor. There is a new foosball game in the kitchen living room area. The bedroom 1 to 3 are on the level below the kitchen.

Bedroom 1 is the master bedroom with a cal king, a full private bathroom and a TV. Bedroom 2 has 2 twins and a tv. Bedroom 3 has a queen bed. There is a shared full bathroom in the hallway.
The bottom floor has bedroom 4 with a queen bed, TV and full private bathroom.

This house does not have AC. There is no BBQ.

  Great place. Conveniently located next to a trail which provides easy access to Safeway, about a 0.5 mile walk. Interior clean and in good condition, beautiful rental. Located about 1 mile from Stateline many nearby restaurants/bars, beaches, trails and shops. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

  Nice spacious rental close to Heavenly, restaurants, casinos. A bit dated of a place with lots of carpeting, but overall a clean home & the kitchen was well stocked with utensils, cooking tools, pots/pans, etc. Beds were comfortable, everything worked. It is in a hilly location, so be sure to have snow tires or chains, which were needed to get into/out of Tahoe at this time anyway. The home is just outside of town and easy to find. Everything was exactly as communicated in the contract agreement, which gave easy directions. Clear and timely communication. As other reviewers have mentioned, there are lots of stairs and levels, but it was completely fine for our family (teenagers, parents, uncle). We enjoyed the movies and games provided, too.

  We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful house! The view of the snow falling by the windows was so amazing!! The kitchen is so nice and all white and it has everything we need!! The rooms were spacious and and comfortables. I liked they provided everything we need (towels, trash bags and all we need in a normal house).
  We stayed most of the time at the top of the house, and I think the only thing it needs to be replaced is the dining table!! But loved the house was the last one at the village so we walked and played with kids outside!! We also enjoyed the many stairs of the house, it was fun going up and down. The football table was fun!! I loved the view from every window of the house.!! My room had a forest view and I was impressed to see the pine trees !! We also used the grill on the balcony and it was so nice the experience!! I would love to came back again to this beautiful house!!

  Overall our stay was excellent. I would suggest installing ceiling fans in the living room and all the bedrooms. On warm days when the air flow is light. It’s warm inside. There were a few maintenance issues that should be addressed like the tan ottoman loose, cleaning the barbecue, and a Beach umbrella was broken when we try to use it.

  There were a few items of concern that need to be addressed 1) The screen door off of the kitchen keeps coming off track, several times I had to reinstall it and a couple of times it came completely off and we had to catch it before it hit the person sitting in the chair right outside on the balcony. 2) The dish washer has not been secured to the counter. When I loaded the dishwasher and pulled out the top rack, the entire dishwasher tilted forward. If it wasn't for the counter top, it would have toppled completely over on its face. 3) The outlets in the first bedroom on the left will not support anything plugged into them, whatever is plugged in falls completely out of the outlet. Its as if there is just retangled holes in the walls. 4) In the master bathroom the towel rack is missing by the toilet,although the rack mounting brackets are there, the towel rack is not, which required us to use the closet to hang the towels. 5) The faucet in the master tub needs to be tightened, if someone is not careful it is bound to come off in their hand. 6) The toilet seat in master bath was loose. 7) Did not have garage door code. It would have been nice to not have to go inside upstairs, then downstairs to the garage to open and close the garage door.

  PROs: Location, back deck and nice kitchen
  CONs: too many stairs (with weird lips that are a tripping hazard), no bath on living level, lots of things in disrepair such as missing screens (an issue when its hot outside) and garage door doesn't work. Did not provide any cleaning supplies or tools such as mop or vacuum. Bathroom floors were dirty, carpets not clean/vacuumed, and there were a lot of cob webs in the house. With a bit of effort the owners of this home could make this place at least basic, but it's far from world-class.

  The property was very clean. The VRBO listing should emphasize the number of stairs especially for any elderly people looking to rent. There is not enough lighting in the master bedroom and it needs a bit of updating. Given that there is no central AC the owner should provide fans, it was quite warm in the upstairs our first few days. It would also be very nice if the owner provided some travel information of the area and/or menus of places that deliver. The location was great and very central to Heavenly.

  Beautiful rental, but be prepared for many flights of stairs. Bring a baby gate if you have toddlers. The property was close to Heavenly village, Nevada Beach and Round Hill Pines. Well maintained and updated unit. The club house closes at 5 and the pool closes at 4:30 which during the Summer is inconvenient. Overall would stay here again, but would bring baby gate.

  A quiet duplex situated in the woods located on SE area of South Lake Tahoe.
  Overall the facility was nice. An updated kitchen was the first obvious feature. The wood floors were new and in great shape. All the appliances worked great. And the AC kicked out some really good cold air.
  In some rooms, however, the quality of the room was lacking severely. The single queen room on the mid level had the closet doors missing. String Lights had no batteries, The carpet was dirty and needed vacuuming and cleaning and the windows were filthy.
  Some of the linens were not cleaned. Stained washcloths, towel bundles were still damp from no being dried all the way, The garage door opener on the outside of the garage had the protective cover missing. The garage itself was a mess. The mid level bathroom had a burned out light and the wrong color bulb in one socket. The clubhouse closed at 5PM, so we couldnt get our parking passes and the pool closed at 4:30. In the Summer? 4:30? Interesting.
  In conclusion, the property was just okay. Nothing special. For the nightly rate, I expected there to be a better experience.

  We enjoyed our summer stay at this property. The place was clean and the layout was nice for our family of 6. It was a great location and we enjoyed the deck. Very happy overall with our stay. The kitchen was well equipped but it was missing some basic items such as aluminum foil and ziplock bags. Toiletries such as shampoo, soap and conditioner was also sparse - but the store was close by for a quick supply run.
