*Per county rules: Weddings are NOT allowed of any kind or size, on the property or at the house. You will be shut down immediately and will lose the security deposit and will be subject to more fines.
*You are only allowed 10 persons at any time at the house. This includes any diners or gatherings you may have. There is only sleeping for 8 in beds.
*Please help us to keep our home a vacation rental. NOISE ORDINANCE 9pm TO 8am DAILY and is very strict in this neighborhood.
* Fireworks, wood fire pits, and charcoal BBQ's are illegal in the Lake Tahoe Basin.
*Please be prepared for winter driving conditions as we are above 7k feet in elevation, and we do get snow.
Parking: 4 cars allowed at house at any time. There is no street parking per county and fire safety rules. Pursuant to DCC 20.622.040 (D) (6) Failure to park in the designated parking spaces and/or display the parking permit may result in a citation and fine of $500 to the responsible party or person of the vehicle. You must display the parking pass in both vehicles during your stay. They are in the rental house.
Enter on the ground level into a bright entryway. A doorway leads to the game room, & a half bathroom.

Cook to your heart's content in the sunny kitchen with granite counter-tops, stainless steel appliances, bar and table seating. A beautiful living room boasts cathedral ceilings with exposed wood beams, a flat-screen TV, and a gas fireplace set among intricate stonework. Take in the greenery of the mountainside from a wood deck off the living room.

A covered hot tub sits outside the master bedroom on a private deck—indulge, relax, and take in the pines, clear skies, and open air.

Please note this multi level home has many stairs between each and every floor. Parking is very limited, you will only fit 2 cars in the garage & 3 in the driveway. There is no street parking.

  The cabin was beautiful, lots of stairs and the location was very conviniéndome. There was plenty of space for our family. The only negative feedback I have is with the cleanliness of the cabin. Imo they need to hire someone to deep clean quarterly. There was a stain on the main comforter in one of the rooms, there was a boogie on a different main comforter. They should have been washed or removed from the bed by housekeeping. There was a lot of dust behind the beds and in the kitchen there was a dead moth near the sink by the window. The main couch in the living room is micro fiber and showed a lot of signs of wear and tear, dirt build up. I feel bad providing this feedback but hopefully it’s just for the owners to know and make some changes.

  Hi,
  We rent this house for vacation, but the maintenance it’s not good!
  Has some problems, the company or the owner has to fixed
  several leaks, one comes from the bathroom and the other from the kitchen, the garage door is very old and at some point it wouldn't open and we lost an hour to leave the house, the mattresses are old and you can't rest well, you wake up in pain in the back.
  For that’s reason I give 3 stars

  Overall the house was nice, amenities were comfortable. Cleanliness of the house was by far not up to par. Lots of cobwebs, dirty dishes in the pantry and hair wads on the shower wall in the master bath. It made us uneasy as
  We had to inspect everything based on things we found on arrival. The price of the cleaning fee did not feel appropriate based on the condition of the home on our arrival. The home also had a very strange layout and we had trouble locating the fourth bedroom which seemed more like a closet. Neighborhood was quiet and safe.

  So thank you for the stay. A couple things I would like to bring up.
  
  1. The home owners ask to have guest to remove shoes while in the house. Well, the amount of stairs and socks generally sometimes things happen. Unfortunately, I slipped and fell and really hurt my back. Hopefully nothing comes of it. (I will keep you posted).
  2. If you advertise that there is a hot tub, I would hope that it was full of water and working before the guests arrived.
  3. Lastly, if you charge $400 plus dollars for a house cleaning, the house should be super clean and no party supplies/ Cigarette butts left all over the porches. Tape was left all over the walls and confetti left over the floors and outside. So the house was definitely WAS NOT cleaned properly.

  Good Morning,
  We stayed at property ZC647 and upon arrival we experienced a very unsafe parking situation. The driveway was not salted and completely covered with ice, we had shovel and break ice pack to enter the garage. On top of all that the snow plow truck pushed up a wall of snow blocking most of the front door and causing front steps to freeze over. We also had multiple people slip and fall causing serious injury due to icy steps. The inside of the house was not cleaned at all, there was an inch of dust on ceiling fan in master bedroom. Master bedroom shower was not cleaned, kitchen window was full of dead flies, dust and cobwebs and the living room area was full of dust and cobwebs as well. We were also promised at least four parking spots but only had room for one car due to iced driveway. Had to park other car at nearby casino. I also sent multiple emails of pictures of driveway, dirty house and parking situation but never received a response back. I will never stay at this property or book with you guys again.

  Greetings
  My family stay at the Zephyr Cove property was absolutely amazing. Upon arrival well after dark long drive in the home was nice and warm and the hot tub was hot and ready to go. The home was fully stocked with everything you think you need and even things you forgot you needed. The property management and or owners appear to take great pride in the home which reflects in the cleanliness and the top of the line and quality amendments supplied. No corners were cut. Even during the COVID crisis we felt safe to not only rent the home but use the things supplied which is a very sensitive subject for me. My family is already planning a return stay
  The location was perfect within 5 min to stores which was really important as we celebrated Thanksgiving in the home.

  Accuracy of description - Fair. In the photos, the house does not appear to have so many steps. In reality, it's over a hundred! Every room in the house is separated from the others by a flight of stairs, and the layout is a bit odd. You'll climb 20 or so steps to get from the front door to the living room. Also, the description says it sleeps up to 10 people, but in reality you have 3 beds (I believe 2 queens and a king) and a futon. In order to sleep 10, you need to bring some of your own sleeping gear. There is plenty of space, though!
  
  Cleanliness and maintenance - Very Good. The house was very clean! The only issue here is some of the doors are hard to secure closed due to frame fitting issues. A very minor issue in my opinion, as the place is very comfortable.
  
  Customer service - Excellent. Every step of the reservation, payment, and arrival process was very easy to follow, and the people who answered the phones were always helpful. There are notices all over the house to help you figure out how everything works, from the wifi to the furnace or television operation. There's only 1 thing I would suggest to improve here; we forgot a small item at home, and tried to have it delivered by a friend using the postal service overnight delivery. We didn't realize there was no postal service at the house until the item failed to arrive. Maybe put a notice in the reservation info packet? Either way, no big deal.
  
  Would I recommend? - Yes! The price is high, but there's enough space for at least 6 people comfortably, and 10 people if you're willing to sleep on a futon or bring sleeping gear, allowing you to easily split the cost. It's the best deal I could find in terms of dollar-per-square-footage.
  
  What did I enjoy the most? Beach access is a 3 or 4 minute drive away (but go early if you need to park, because they run out of parking space within half an hour of the beach opening). We had a lot of fun parasailing and rafting down Truckee

  Overall okay. The house is a very strange layout. Plenty of bedrooms, but way too many stairs. We couldn't find a broom to sweep the floors and some of the dishes were dirty.

  To say the layout was strange is an understatement. Definitely got a workout with all the stairs! Not at all pleased with the condition of the house. Felt run down. I laughed when I saw the sign that shoes were not allowed inside, it just wasn’t that type of house. Didn’t feel clean with all the cobwebs and dust. Very sparsely outfitted. A couple of nice decks but nothing to sit on! All that was covering the mattresses was a thin,fitted sheet. That grossed me out. The kitchen had decent accommodations. Got very hot in the house with all the levels and no AC. Did not like the neighborhood. Too residential and too tight. Roads too narrow to safely go for a walk. Just not what I expected.

  Overall, we were pretty disappointed with our stay.The location was close enough to stateline and in a quiet neighborhood, which was great. For lack of a better word, the house was dirty. There was a notice in the enterance that the house was a no shoes household (which was totally fine), but the carpet and hardwood floors were filthy. There was dust and cobwebs throughout the house and dead bugs on the window sills. On a positive note, the bathrooms and kitchen were clean and well stocked with towels and paper products. Unfortunately I would not stay here again.

  Pro:
  this house is close to everything. Grocery, restaurants, heavenly, etc. Convenient location.
  
  Con:
  Layout of the house is very strange. Tons of stairs. Aside from 2 guest rooms and 2 master bedrooms, no two rooms are on the same level.
  The guest rooms and bathrooms also have strangely low height, and big ceiling beams. I am 6'1 and bumped my head multiple times.
  Furniture and appliances are on the old side.
  Was told that multiple bath towels were missing a week after our stay, and got charged $35 for them. The 6 of us spent more than $2K on 3 nights of stay, I don't know why would any of us wants to take those used towels. But it's not significant enough amount to argue about.
